peaceful..

i sit here on the eve of a four day weekend, easter, a time for rest, relaxing, lots of smiles and maybe more.. and i am thinking about the day at work, we had a lunch function today which had a sporting theme, and i am not a sporty person, so i didn't dress up in my 'team' colours, because i don't have a team, and i am not good at pretending, or conforming for that matter... a few of the men i work with said i should follow our national game, and i used to, madly, but why should i pretend, it has no interest for me at all... so i dressed in my favourite black, my boots and enjoyed the lunch.. and i am good with that, i don't need to be one of the crowd, just because it was what was expected.. i am at peace that i don't feel the need to conform.. that i remain me..
