the Kastle..

so a long time ago, i used to hang around a store called Kastle Rock Couture, great designs, great sales, great friendly staff.. then i applied to be one of their CSRs when a job opening came up.. and from that time i have been part of the Kastle Rock little family.. and when my rl got unpredictable i had to stop my shifts, but remain on the staff online boards to help out customers when needed.. which i love to do.. so today i decided to feature one of Spooky's latest releases.. the Zhang Li Gown.. it's gorgeous!!

sunday... it's a new day..

today has been a great day.. after two days of rest, a good night sleep, i am finally feeling better.. not 100%, but the body aches are gone! yay!!

and this morning i woke to an offline from SL that i was accepted as a blogger for the Indulgence BDSM and Kink Fair, and those that know me will know this is something that appeals to me.. so that was very exciting..

raven's pier..

another lazy pj day here, still battling this cold that is hounding me.. so spent most of the day snuggled up.. part of it spent working on my sim, serein.. a few extra little hidden spots created.. this pier/deck is the latest.. i think this will be my favourite space on the sim.. don't forget it is open to all to enjoy.. take pictures or take someone special.. there is dance balls scattered around, with more to come..

just going to talk about the decor today.. i just LOVE this setting from Cheeky Pea at the current Fameshed round.. i have used this setting to make a lovely relaxing space near one of the water holes on serein.. it is perfect for friends, couples.. it has a great menu and relaxing comfortable feel to it.. and the setting comes with sooo many things to make your space just as you want it..

bright sunday..

it is a gorgeous day today.. the sun is shining, the windows and doors are open allowing the breeze to freshen the air.. as usual it's a lazy sunday, though lots of chores done to get ready for the week ahead.. i am fighting the start of a cold.. they gave me some strong meds at the chemist.. and wow.. they are making me light headed.. but i have stopped sniffling..

saturday night..

had such a lovely day today, away from my laptop, my niece turned 18 today, and we have a lovely lunch out, with all family, she will do friends celebrations tomorrow.. it was nice to get out, see my sisters, parents, nieces and nephews, have lovely food.. now i am relaxing for the rest of the evening.. and of course taking pics, decorating, and blogging..

the melody room... plus 1000+ hits!

firstly, i was very excited this morning to wake to over 1000 views on my blog.. not bad for a month of blogging!!..

secondly, so i have decided it is time to open up the sim for visitors, will i get some? who knows!? but i have enjoyed landscaping, decorating, and while i have more to do, there is no harm in having it open.. i do hope people enjoy it, and i think it will be an every changing canvas for me to grow and enjoy this form of creativity..

i am really enjoying blogging.. i know i am only new, but felt it was the next progression from my flickr.. and now that i have this homestead to play on.. it's even more fun..

i got to speak to a girl through a group chat on sl this week.. who suggested groups and how long it takes before you can go on some feeds etc etc, and to apply to stores as a blogger.. it was great to have that chat.. people can be so generous and helpful with their information.. and i am very thankful to her.. she gave me an extra boost of confidence..  i hope my blogging continues to grow, and i do feel blessed to have two sponsors already..

i love the dark. it is definitely my favourite time of the day.. but.. there are days that shouldn't feel so dark.. that you feel the light is so far from you that you can't breathe..

it is important to know.. even when you enjoy the dark.. enjoy the embrace of the shadows.. that there is a light within reach.. to warm the heart.. to heat the flesh..  last night.. i had glimmer of light shine upon me.. it is those moments that i can let go of my dark...

running in barefeet...

 

i remember as a child the feeling of running amongst the flowers, through fresh grass without shoes.. nothing to worry about.. just arms out.. laughter filling the air.. and a calmness that comes with such freedom to let go..  i still love to go out barefooted, as much as i love my boots, shoes.. there is something about the earth beneath one's feet...

this weekend i was away with friends, and one of my friends i have an amazing relationship with.. and as i took this pic on sl this afternoon.. it reflected how i felt when i get to spend time as i did the last past couple of days... i am calm.. feeling free.. and i know the 'real' world will come rushing back but i am going to hang on to this feeling for as long as i can.. and i know i will sleep well tonight...

oh and i am very happy how the homestead is coming together.. sooo pretty.. :)

long weekend...

sooo... this week has been a big one.. first thing i did was get a homestead, then stood around for a couple of days completely overwhelmed! lol...  but i have started.. standing on my new beach in the photo.. very pleased how i have started, enjoy it so far... and now after a huge week at work, i have today off (friday) and am heading away for a couple of nights of good food.. good champagne.. and great company... will be back sunday.. to continue on my sl new adventure.. wishing everyone a great weekend..
