break the silence...

It’s National Anti Bullying Week. (the 16th through the 20th).  Cate Footman is encouraging Second Lifers to take a stand against bullying and “Break the Silence”.  Share an anti-bullying inspired image, to encourage others to be aware of bullying not only in our real lives but also in our second lives too.

A lot of my schooling years, from about 7 to 13 i was bullied, so this cause is very dear to my heart.  I spent so many years feeling like i had no voice, i was alone, caged from the world.. i did have a couple of close friends that i hung out with, but another group of peers my age i would spend time with were so scared to get bullied themselves that they ended up bullying and teasing me too.. a time i would soon forget...

so it is time to stand up tall.. and 'Break the Silence'
