the white raven... rising above it all..

i was 'raven' online years before i created an SL account.. it is a name that is extremely important to me.. such depth and meaning behind it.. i even have two raven tattoos on my wrists.. on top of my left and under my right..  it is a part of me that moves between both worlds..  there are times that i feel that it is time to give up my 'raven' nic.. but how can you give up something that you hold so dear..

i love when pics come together better than i thought.. i got this great pack from ALTER today for the Ross Event.. saw the ACDC shirt, and being from Aus, how could i possibly resist... teaming it with gorgeous ankle boots from KC Couture.. i was set.. topped it off with black jewellery, red lips, dark eyes.. and this girl feels like home!! 

Growing up i wore black tanks with ACDC printed across the front, wore black skinny jeans and had a huge collection of vinyl.. so this is so me.. and yes.. in my final years of high school i was blonde!!!  LOVE this look.. this is just so me!!

i am much more a night person than day... i love the comfort of a dark sky.. the stars lighting the way.. the day can be so harsh, confronting, so bright.. but the night's sky is beautiful.. the outline of clouds scattered against the black.. the moon in its current phase.. such a wonder to stare up in to.. get lost in all it offers before sleep comes and dreams are ready to for the night's adventure..

over the last month or so, people across the grid have been helping raise funds for The Lexi Project, please click the link for more information. There was an amazing event that raise over US$10,000/ 2,527,494L, and amazing result!!

KC Couture have these lovely sandals instore to continue the fund raising.  100% of sales goes to Lexi to continue to assist in her battle.

a serein ride..

On9 starts on 9 August.. and MeSewSexy have released this gorgeous dress.. now i am not one that normally wears the 'pretty' dresses, but i LOVE this..  it has the most beautiful look about it..

for the pic i decided to use the DS'Elles Alcanine horse (incl 20 poses) which will be available at the Black Dot Project Event, starting 10 August.   Of course i have taken this pic at serein.. (photo comp ends 10 August!)
